This project showcases a few simple concepts that shape the overall design of the residence. The first is the importance of keeping the interior & center of the house open & free-flowing without sacrificing privacy & comfort. This is reflected in the large & lush central courtyard surrounded by large windows, expansive views, & overhangs. Another principal is the merging of communal spaces, gently blending the kitchen into the living room by reducing the height of the seating area into a conversation pit.

The final product is a contemporary modern residence that's bright, bold, & beautiful for both the inheritance & visitors.
